Code of conduct

With regard to collaborators, volunteers and others that are directly involved in working with
children.
The Code of Conduct reflects professional expectations towards employees and others when they
come in contact with children during their work related activities. All employees and others, that
have contact with children, must know the requirements of the Code of Conduct.
The children are vulnerable to various risks from different sources and it’s the responsibility of the
employees and others to reduce the risk by opposing bad practices, as well as identifying and
mitigating risks of the children they work with. Violence against children, including sexual violence,
usually happens when child and adult are on their own without being observed. That’s why the
strongest defence for the employees and others is to avoid the situations that do not allow
observing the contact and behaviour they have with the children.
